Van Jensen is an American writer of comics, graphic novels and novels, born and raised in western Nebraska. He worked as a newspaper crime reporter and a magazine editor before turning to comics. For DC he wrote The Flash with Robert Venditti and Green Lantern Corps, and he has also written Godzilla, Superman and James Bond. His creator-owned work includes Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer (Top Shelf), Cryptocracy (Dark Horse), Arca (IDW) and Two Dead (Simon & Schuster), and he is the author of the Godfall novels. He has served as a Comic Book Ambassador for the US State Department.
