Tite Kubo, whose real name is Noriaki Kubo, is a Japanese manga author, born on 26 June 1977 in Fuchū, Hiroshima Prefecture. He first serialised “Zombiepowder.” (1999-2000) in Weekly Shōnen Jump, then published “Bleach” there from 2001 to 2016 — the story of Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenager who becomes a Soul Reaper tasked with guiding souls and fighting evil spirits. The series runs to seventy-four volumes and more than 130 million copies in circulation, and was adapted into a television anime, whose final arc, “Thousand-Year Blood War”, began airing in 2022. He later created “Burn the Witch”.
