Tessa Bailey is an American romance novelist. Born in Carlsbad, California, she studied at Kingsborough Community College and took an English degree at Pace University, and now lives on Long Island, New York. She writes contemporary romance, usually in short connected series: Broke and Beautiful (2015), Crossing the Line (2015-2016), Romancing the Clarksons (2016-2017), The Academy (2017-2018), Hot and Hammered (2019-2020), the Bellinger Sisters (2021-2022), A Vine Mess (2022-2023) and Big Shots (from 2024), alongside standalone novels. “Hook, Line and Sinker” (2022) and “Unfortunately Yours” (2023) were New York Times bestsellers, and her books are translated into more than a dozen languages.
