Sonic Scribes is not a person: it is the collective byline Archie Comics used on its Sonic the Hedgehog collections and graphic novels, standing for the many writers and artists who worked on the series over two decades. Among them are the writer Ian Flynn, the artists Ben Bates, Jamal Peppers and Tracy Yardley, and long-serving contributors such as Patrick Spaziante and Steven Butler. The credit appears on the trade paperbacks and archive volumes rather than on the original monthly issues, which name their individual creators.
