Mason Coile

Mason Coile is the pen name under which Canadian novelist Andrew Pyper (1968–2025), author of The Demonologist and Lost Girls, wrote short thrillers that blend horror and science fiction. Three novels appeared under this name: William (2024), a ghost story about an artificial intelligence; Exiles (2025), a locked-room mystery set on a Mars outpost; and Driven (2026), published after his death, in which a grieving man is trapped inside a self-driving car.
