Jodi Picoult

Jodi Picoult is an American novelist, born in 1966 in Nesconset, New York. She studied creative writing at Princeton and took a master's in education at Harvard before publishing her first novel, “Songs of the Humpback Whale”, in 1992. She has since written some thirty novels, most of them built around a moral or legal dilemma told through several narrators: “My Sister's Keeper” (2004), “Nineteen Minutes” (2007), “Small Great Things” (2016) and “By Any Other Name” (2024) are among the best known. She wrote two young-adult novels with her daughter Samantha van Leer, “Between the Lines” (2012) and “Off the Page” (2015), co-wrote “Mad Honey” with Jennifer Finney Boylan (2022), and scripted five issues of DC's Wonder Woman in 2007.
