Jeff Kinney

Jeff Kinney, born in 1971 in Fort Washington, Maryland, is an American author and cartoonist. Diary of a Wimpy Kid, which he first drew as an online serial before Abrams published it in book form in 2007, has grown into a series of more than twenty volumes, translated into dozens of languages and sold in the hundreds of millions of copies. He also writes the spin-off Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid, told from Rowley Jefferson's point of view, created the children's game site Poptropica, and runs the bookshop An Unlikely Story in Plainville, Massachusetts.
