Jed MacKay is a Canadian comics writer, born in Stanley Bridge, Prince Edward Island, and based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he long worked as a junior high school teacher. His first professional comics work appeared in 2011, an eight-page story in X-Men: To Serve and Protect #4. He has since written Black Cat (2019), Moon Knight (2021) and Doctor Strange (2021) for Marvel, followed by the Avengers (2023) and X-Men (2024) ongoing series and the 2024 crossover event Blood Hunt.
