Holly Jackson is a British novelist, born on 6 December 1992 in England. She studied literary linguistics and creative writing at the University of Nottingham and published “A Good Girl's Guide to Murder” in 2019, in which a sixth-form student reopens a closed murder case for her final-year project. It became a bestselling trilogy with “Good Girl, Bad Blood” (2020) and “As Good as Dead” (2021), alongside the prequel novella “Kill Joy”. She has since written the standalone thrillers “Five Survive” (2022) and “The Reappearance of Rachel Price” (2024), and her first novel for adult readers, “Not Quite Dead Yet” (2025), which reached number one on the New York Times hardcover fiction list. The trilogy was adapted for television by the BBC. She lives in London.
