Chris Mowry is an American comics writer and letterer. A former US Navy cryptologist who then worked in video games at Midway and Sega, he joined IDW Publishing in 2006 as a senior graphic artist and stayed eleven years. He wrote the Transformers prequel miniseries Alliance and Defiance and the whole 25-issue run of Godzilla: Rulers of Earth, the longest Godzilla comics series to date, and lettered a great many IDW titles. He was creative manager at Toho International from 2019 to 2023.
