Steve Pugh

Steve Pugh (born 1966) is a British comic book artist and writer. He came to notice through his work with writer Jamie Delano on Hellblazer (1990-1991) and Animal Man (1992-1995) for DC and Vertigo, alongside runs on 2000 AD titles including Strontium Dog, Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper, and later work for Marvel on Generation X and Blade. With Warren Ellis, who supplied the concept, he scripted and drew the Hotwire limited series for Radical Comics from 2009. His later work turned towards satire: he drew Mark Russell's twelve-issue The Flintstones (2016) and Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass, both of which brought him Eisner nominations.
