Michael Norman was an American author known for his supernatural book series Haunted which he has written alongside fellow author Beth Scott. Norman, who hailed from Illinois, graduated with a master's degree from Northern Illinois University in 1969. He worked at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls journalism department from 1973 until his retirement in May 2003. In 1996, Norman made a guest appearance in the Annie Award-nominated talk show Space Ghost Coast to Coast.
