The Addendum

For generations, Blackwood Manor's stately façade has concealed a brutal truth. Now, dying patriarch C.L. James uncovers an explosive secret: a century-old addendum to his ancestor's will, granting the plantation to an enslaved woman. As he confronts the weight of his family's legacy, his path collides with Naomi Freeman, a young lawyer tracing her own ancestral ties to the estate. Haunted by visions of the past and driven by a demand for justice, Naomi challenges the very foundations of the James name. Together, they unearth buried secrets that expose greed, prejudice, and a reckoning written into the blood-soaked soil of the South. Can a legacy built on bones ever be redeemed-and who will inherit its truth?
