Rob Liefeld is an American comics artist and writer, born in 1967 in Anaheim, California. He drew Marvel's New Mutants from 1989 and turned it into X-Force in 1991, co-creating Cable, Domino, Shatterstar and — with writer Fabian Nicieza — Deadpool. In 1992 he was one of the seven founders of Image Comics, where he launched Youngblood and the Extreme Studios line. He later returned to Marvel for the Heroes Reborn relaunch of Captain America and the Avengers.
