Peter F. Hamilton

Peter F. Hamilton is a British science-fiction novelist, born on 2 March 1960 in Rutland, England. He began writing in 1987 and sold his first short story the following year. His Greg Mandel trilogy — “Mindstar Rising” (1993), “A Quantum Murder” (1994) and “The Nano Flower” (1995) — was followed in the late 1990s by the Night's Dawn trilogy: “The Reality Dysfunction”, “The Neutronium Alchemist” and “The Naked God”. He went on to build the Commonwealth universe across the Commonwealth Saga, the Void trilogy and the Chronicle of the Fallers, and began the Salvation Sequence in 2018. He won the BSFA Award in 2000 for “The Suspect Genome”.
