ND Stevenson is an American cartoonist and animation showrunner, born in 1991. He drew Nimona as a webcomic while still a student; HarperCollins published it as a graphic novel in 2015, it was a National Book Award finalist and won an Eisner, and Netflix adapted it as an animated film in 2023. With Grace Ellis, Shannon Watters and Brooklyn Allen he co-created Lumberjanes for BOOM! Studios, itself an Eisner winner, translated into French by Kinaye and into Spanish by Sapristi. He went on to develop and run the Netflix series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
