Mick Herron

Mick Herron is a British crime novelist, born on 12 April 1963 in Newcastle upon Tyne. He read English at Oxford and worked as an editor in London before writing full-time. He is best known for the Slough House series, opened by “Slow Horses” (2010), which follows a fictional London office of disgraced MI5 agents nicknamed the “Slow Horses” under the difficult Jackson Lamb; the series now runs to nine volumes and has been adapted by Apple TV+ as “Slow Horses” (from 2022) with Gary Oldman. He also writes the Zoë Boehm detective novels. He is published in the UK by John Murray.
