Marissa Meyer

Marissa Meyer is an American novelist, born on 19 February 1984 in Tacoma, Washington. She spent about ten years writing Sailor Moon fan fiction under the name Alicia Blade before publishing her first novel. Her breakthrough was The Lunar Chronicles, a set of science-fiction retellings of fairy tales made up of “Cinder” (2012), “Scarlet” (2013), “Cress” (2014) and “Winter” (2015), extended by the graphic novels “Wires and Nerve” (2017) and “Wires and Nerve: Gone Rogue” (2018). She has since written “Heartless” (2016), the Renegades superhero trilogy (2017-2019), “Instant Karma” (2020) and the pair “Gilded” (2021) and “Cursed” (2022).
