Jack Carr

Jack Carr is an American thriller novelist, born on 3 July 1975 in Minnesota. He served in the United States Navy from 1996 to 2016, ending his career as a commander in the SEAL teams, where he worked as a sniper and in various leadership roles. His first novel, “The Terminal List”, appeared in 2018 and introduced James Reece, a former SEAL turned avenger; it was adapted for Amazon Prime Video in 2022 with Chris Pratt in the title role, Carr serving as executive producer. The James Reece series has continued with “True Believer”, “Savage Son”, “The Devil's Hand”, “In the Blood”, “Only the Dead” and “Red Sky Mourning”. He is published by Emily Bestler Books at Atria/Simon & Schuster.
