Hajime Komoto

Hajime Komoto is a Japanese manga author who keeps a low public profile; his birth date and face are not publicly disclosed. He came to notice in 2020 with “Mashle: Magic and Muscles”, serialised in Weekly Shōnen Jump: a parody of a wizarding world in which Mash Burnedead, the only human unable to use magic, compensates with extravagant physical strength. The series runs to eighteen volumes, concluded in 2023 and has been adapted into a television anime.
