Guy Delisle

Guy Delisle is a Canadian cartoonist and animator, born in Quebec City in 1966. He trained in animation at Sheridan College and worked in studios in Europe and Asia; the travel diaries he drew from those stays made his name — “Shenzhen” (2000), “Pyongyang” (2003), “Burma Chronicles” (2007) and “Jerusalem: Chronicles from the Holy City” (2011), which won the top prize at the Angoulême festival in 2012. He also draws the “Louis” books and “A User's Guide to Neglectful Parenting”, in which he plays his own family life for laughs. His most recent book is “Pour une fraction de seconde” (2024).
