Blake Crouch is an American novelist, born on 15 October 1978 in Statesville, North Carolina. A graduate in English and creative writing from the University of North Carolina, he wrote thrillers before finding wide success with the Wayward Pines trilogy (2012-2014), adapted for television. He is best known for high-concept science-fiction thrillers about parallel realities and memory: “Dark Matter” (2016), adapted by Apple TV+, “Recursion” (2019) and “Upgrade” (2022).
