Barry Windsor-Smith, born Barry Smith in London in 1949, is a British comic book artist and writer. He drew Marvel's Conan the Barbarian from 1970 to 1973, where his increasingly ornate line made his name, and later wrote and drew Weapon X (1991), the story that gave Wolverine his adamantium skeleton. His other Marvel work includes Machine Man, and he spent much of the 1990s at Valiant on Solar and Archer & Armstrong. His graphic novel Monsters, three decades in the making, appeared in 2021 and won three Eisner Awards. He entered the Eisner Hall of Fame in 2008.
